VIPS reVISION Art Show 2020 | Opening Night

March 13, 2020

6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Interchurch Center Art Gallery

How often are you told that you can touch a piece of artwork? Probably rarely. What would you do if you were blind and you wanted to be an art patron? How would you experience art if you were told not to touch it but couldn’t see it visually?

Visually Impaired Preschool Services (VIPS Indiana) is proud to bring back reVISION–an art exhibition where touching the art is not only allowed but it is encouraged. reVISION is a unique and interactive exhibition of works by artists who are challenged to explore their art through the eyes of the visually impaired. reVISION transforms the traditional “do not touch” gallery presentation into a tactile, auditory, olfactory and spatial experience that welcomes everyone, blind and sighted alike.

The opening night is on Friday, March 13 from 6-8 pm. We will be serving wine, refreshments and small bites from some of our favorite local restaurants like Bluebeard, Ruth’s Cafe, Duos Indy, Ruth’s Chris Indianapolis North, Gigi’s Cupcakes and more!

If you can’t make it to the opening night, the show will run through April 30, 2020. The hours of the Gallery are Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm. If you’d like to book a private tour, please contact Meredith Howell at

We thank the artists for their participation and their willingness to donate proceeds from the sale of their artwork back to VIPS to help us continue to serve Indiana’s babies and toddlers with blindness/low vision!

This event is sponsored by Bose McKinney & Evans LLP, The Christel DeHaan Family Foundation and Delta Gamma Theta Chapter. We appreciate their generous support.
