My Fellow Americans, a Report from Puerto Rico” will be the first Interchurch Art Gallery exhibit of 2019.

Joshua Mark Phillippe who teaches art history at Ivy Tech presents his photography of our fellow Americans in Puerto Rico.

Puerto Rico is not a state, but is represented in Congress. Puerto Ricans pay U. S. Social Security and Medicare “taxes”, serve in the U. S. military, vote in presidential primary elections and caucuses, and more – a very unique arrangement. What benefits do they receive?
