Please join us for the opening evening of the Sierra Club’s art show– Human/Nature, on Thursday, October 10, 6-8 pm at the Indiana Interchurch Center Gallery. Artists from all over Indiana and beyond will be exhibiting work reflecting on our human relationship with the natural world. There will also be copies of our accompanying chapbook, Human/Nature, for purchase at the opening evening of the art show.

The exhibition will then run Monday-Friday from October 11 until Thanksgiving, from 8 am-5 pm.

Artists were asked to reflect on:

  • How do we as humans interact with and impact nature, both positively and negatively?
  • How does the natural world affect us?
  • Can spending time in nature help us heal?
  • How has our relationship with the natural world changed?
  • Do we have a disconnect with nature, and has this been detrimental to our lives… and our planet?
  • Where do we go from here?
