Floor 2 Pop-up Museum

In February of 2018, the Interchurch Center welcomed a new space for the arts and culture: the Pop-up Museum. Located on the second floor of the Interchurch Center, the Pop-up Museum provides a stimulus for thought-provoking and informative conversations.

The first exhibit, “Rwandan Genocide against the Tutsi,” was curated by Kizito Kalima, executive director of the Peace Center for Forgiveness and Reconciliation. Kizito is himself a survivor of the genocide. The exhibit consists of three sections:

  1. Rwandan Culture
  2. 1994 Rwandan genocide against the Tutsi
  3. Genocides and peace movements around the world

The exhibit will be featured when the Peace Center for Forgiveness and Reconciliation commemorates the 24th anniversary of the Rwandan genocide on April 28.
