This annual event is made so that people who struggle to see can experience art in their way, by touching it. Often we are told we aren’t allowed to touch art, but this flips the script and it is a very interesting experience.
reVISION is a unique and interactive exhibition of works by regional Indiana artists who were challenged to explore the world of art through the eyes of the visually impaired. reVISION will transform the traditional gallery presentation into a tactile, auditory, olfactory and spatial experience that welcomes everyone, blind and sighted alike.
The Visually Impaired Preschool Services (VIPS) to hold its fourth tactile art exhibition in Indianapolis starting Friday, March 8.
The first floor of the project calls for 6,100 square feet of commercial space, which TWG plans to lease to the new Indianapolis headquarters of Visually Impaired Preschool Services, which provides early intervention services for children with blindness and low vision.
